It is December, which means it’s BLOGMAS, my favourite time of year.

So let’s start with my favourite Christmas movies!
I don’t start watching Christmas movies until after Nov 12th. Nov 11th is Remembrance Day here in Canada. It’s also the same day that my grandmother passed away. She never celebrated Christmas, but that day, I just did not feel Christmasy. On Nov 12th is the day my husband’s grandmother passed. Out of respect for all that I don’t do anything that has to do with Christmas.
After all, that is when I start watching Christmas movies. There are a few I could watch over and over again without ever getting bored. With some popcorn and white hot chocolate, I am good to go.
Here are my top 10 Christmas Movies:
1) A Christmas Carol – I love this movie so much that I will watch any version of it.
2) How The Grinch Stole Christmas – I love the original one and the Jim Carrey version. Though the new one with Benedict Cumberbatch looks cute.
3) Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer- Growing up, I couldn’t wait for this movie to come on TV every Christmas.
4) Home Alone 1 & 2 – I used to watch these movies every year with my grandmother. I loved watching her laugh at it. After she passed away, it was so hard to watch them. Now I watch them in her honour.
5) A Charlie Brown Christmas Movie – Come on, who doesn’t love Charlie Brown?
6) The Nightmare Before Christmas – This is the one movie you can watch during Halloween and Christmas.
7) The Santa Clause – As a kid, I was obsessed with the first movie. To this day, I love to watch all 3. I make it into a marathon.
8) ELF – I am not a huge fan of Will Ferrell, but this movie is super cute.
9) Meet Me In St. Louis – I love Judy Garland, and I heard so much about this movie that I had to watch it. It finally came on TV, and I fell in love.
10) Frosty the Snowman – This is another classic movie I love to watch every year.
