Hello, Beautiful People!
I know! I know! I said I will be back to blogging, and I’ve been slacking. Buttttt!!! We’ve been doing some organizing and some construction on the house. We are also planning our trip to Portugal next month. We are going for 3 weeks and everything that can go wrong literally goes wrong.
It’s been a weird start to the year. It has been a rocky start. We decided last minute to book our trip to Portugal for my husband’s grandfather’s 90th birthday. We will also be celebrating my birthday as well. We have been re-organizing this house. We found some holes behind our counters and we had to patch them up. We had some flooding in our cold room and laundry so we had to do work in there as well. Our washer and dryer broke, which I cried about. Since we spent so much for our tickets and fixing up some stuff around the house. We bought refurbished dryer and my sister in law gave us her old one’s for now. Also due to the weather here in Toronto, Canada my husband wasn’t working as much. He is a commercial roofer. His job is based on how well the weather is.
I have been packing the kids luggage’s and myself. Trying to make sure I don’t over pack since we’re going for 3 weeks. Plus I want to make sure there is room for me to bring stuff back lol. I love the table cloths in Portugal. I want to bring a few back for me and family members. I also want to bring back some skincare and make up items that you can only get there. Since we’re celebrating my birthday there obviously I want to shop for some things for myself there.
It has also been rough with the kids and my husband getting sick. There has been a really nasty virus going around. In the 14 years I have been with my husband I have seen him sick maybe 3-4 times. This virus took him down. He was in bed for the whole weekend in February. I had to take both kids to the hospital separately because I couldn’t get their fevers down and Jaxson was puking up the medication. Thankfully everyone is good and thriving. Jaxson is supposed to have a dance concert this Friday. We had a quiet March break.
We had a few birthday’s this month and we have one last one this weekend which is my nephew who is also my husband’s Godson. He is turning 14. Where has the time gone?? These kids are growing up way to fast for our liking.
