Hello Beautiful People!! It’s April which Mean’s Spring weather. April showers bring May Flowers and We are leaving for Portugal!!
Spring Weather is one of favourite times of the year besides Autumn. To be able to wear leggings and cute sweater or Jeans and a cute sweater I am down for it. We do leave this month for Portugal. Packing has been a challenge just because I don’t know what to pack for the weather there. It’s supposed to Spring weather/kind of Summery weather and I don’t know how to pack for that. I don’t want to over pack sweaters and be hot or over pack t-shirts and shorts just to be cold. So I am trying to balance things out.
We are going to be in Portugal for Easter as well which there its a 3 day event. I have a sweater dress and I need to pick up 2 more outfits. I have been eyeing a cute spring dress on Amazon. But were also going to be doing some shopping before we leave because my husband needs a few things. Maybe I might find some cute dresses while we go shopping.
Part of me is excited to go but another part of me is not excited to go just because of some things that happened in Portugal when we went 3 years ago. Some people don’t know how to mind their own business and kept causing issues for my husband and I. Luckily my husband is amazing and stood up for me but its still frustrating. It also sucks that we are going to miss out on our Nephews Baptism, Communion and Conformation. Our Goddaughter’s Birthday and Conformation.
We are going for 3 weeks because it’s my Husband’s Grandfather’s 90th Birthday. He knows were are coming to Portugal. What he doesn’t know is all the other immediate family who live outside of Portugal are coming in as well and we are doing a massive party for him. We did the same thing for my Husband’s other Grandfather when he turned 90 3 years ago.
I am hoping to meet some of my cousin’s on my dad side. We didn’t get to see each tother last time because they were sick with Covid. So hopefully this time we get meet up in person. I am also trying to convince my Husband to take me to the oldest bookstore in Porto for my Birthday. The Bookstore is stunning and I am a HUGE reader.
